In Search Of ...
4/11/01 9:54 pm

Once again our friends over at Episode-X have new spoiler info. Highlight to Read:

As we know, Obi-Wan's search for the truth leads him to the craggy planet of Geonosis. It is here that certain elements of the film climax.

Upon landing his fighter with his trusty astrodroid, R4-D17, Obi-Wan takes off alone in search of the bounty hunter and as to why the Trade Federation has such a presence here. What he finds is a breath taking landscape of flat plains and massive slagmite type stuctures piercing out of the ground.

He eventually finds out exactly what is going on and decides to contact the Jedi Council via Anakin who is supposed to be on Naboo. His transmission thru R4 is cut short due to a raiding party from above - winged Geonosians.

Sith Interceptor also adds that this is the scene where Obi-Wan first gets captured.

Qui-Gon's Master
4/09/01 10:01 pm

We just read interesting news over on aintitcool. I really don't know if this is true or not. Personally I don't really trust aintitcool, but I thought it was fun. So here you go. Take this news with a grain of salt... Highlight to Read:

Apparently Christopher Lee's character,
Count Dooku, was Qui-Gon's Jedi Master.
There is a scene where Obi-Wan is
captured and an exchange takes place.

Dialog:

Dooku
Why are you here?

Obi Wan
I am searching for Jango Fett.

Dooku
He is not here.

Obi Wan
I assure you he is.

After this Dooku reveals that he was
Qui-Gon's master and tries to get Obi-Wan
to join him.

Dunno if this is a bunch of hogwash or not. I think it might be cool. Who knows. What do you think?

The Conference
4/05/01 11:02 pm

New spoiler info from our friends at episode-x.com. This is some pretty cool stuff. Highlight to Read:

On Geonosis after Padmé is captured there is a scene with her in a Conference Room. She's sitting at a table which has been revealed in some select pics, facing a bunch of separatists sitting around the round table.

These separatists are the leaders of worlds which are part of the Confederacy of Independant Systems, which in whole is led by Count Dooku. They are the following:

Tessek
Passel Argente
Toonbuck Toora
Nute Gunray
Po Nudo
Jev Nerran
Shu Mai
Wat Tambor
San Hill
Sun Rit

Dooku is also at the table. So guess why Padme is there?

Now there's some names I've not seen anywhere else! How exciting!

New Select Up
4/05/01 10:23 pm

The newest Episode II select image is up. It looks like our friend George Lucas in front of the ol bluescreen. Perhaps its, Highlight to Read:

The rocky planet of Genosis they are at? Just a shot in the dark here...Also it looks like perhaps the crew member is making sure the camera is at the right angle for an actor to be in his "position".

Oh how we love to speculate!

The Shaak
4/04/01 10:29 pm

A new insider bit of information has surfaced tonight. We found this over at episode X: Highlight to read:

On Naboo at the Lake Retreat during the "picnic scene" Anakin wrestles with a Shaak called Shaak-Ti. Shaak's are peaceful Naboo herbivores. Anakin fights with a Shaak but he actually more wrestles it.

The scene is supposed to show Anakin showing himself off to Padmé.

There is a pic of a Shaak at the official site under "creatures". There was a small report long ago on TheForce.Net that had Padme yell "Noooooo!" in a happy way at the Retreat. I assume that this was the scene.

Sounds kinda hokey to us. Check out the pic HERE.

As everyone is aware, Lucas is slated to return to London soon and do some pick-up shots. Contruction has already started on sets and the cast is expected soon. The rumored length of the time to do these is estimated at two to three weeks.
