Upon landing his fighter with his trusty astrodroid, R4-D17, Obi-Wan takes off alone in search of the bounty hunter and as to why the Trade Federation has such a presence here. What he finds is a breath taking landscape of flat plains and massive slagmite type stuctures piercing out of the ground. He eventually finds out exactly what is going on and decides to contact the Jedi Council via Anakin who is supposed to be on Naboo. His transmission thru R4 is cut short due to a raiding party from above - winged Geonosians. Sith Interceptor also adds that this is the scene where Obi-Wan first gets captured.
As we know, Obi-Wan's search for the truth leads him to the craggy planet of Geonosis. It is here that certain elements of the film climax.

Qui-Gon's master and tries to get Obi-Wan
to join him.

Highlight to Read: Paddy Accu is the ferryman who takes Anakin and Padme to the Lake Retreat.They travel there in the Gondola / Water Speeder. Paddy Accu is also the ground keeper at the Retreat. Nandi and Teckla are both housemaids at the retreat.

Highlight to Read: These separatists are the leaders of worlds which are part of the Confederacy of Independant Systems, which in whole is led by Count Dooku. They are the following: Tessek Dooku is also at the table. So guess why Padme is there?
On Geonosis after Padmé is captured there is a scene with her in a Conference Room. She's sitting at a table which has been revealed in some select pics, facing a bunch of separatists sitting around the round table.

We found this over at episode X: Highlight to read: The scene is supposed to show Anakin showing himself off to Padmé. There is a pic of a Shaak at the official site under "creatures". There was a small report long ago on TheForce.Net that had Padme yell "Noooooo!" in a happy way at the Retreat. I assume that this was the scene.
On Naboo at the Lake Retreat during the "picnic scene" Anakin wrestles with a Shaak called Shaak-Ti. Shaak's are peaceful Naboo herbivores. Anakin fights with a Shaak but he actually more wrestles it.

This is just a quick update to let you know that the pickup shots will start on Monday March 26th. Reports are flying in left and right that confirm sightings of some of the cast and crew already in town. Can't wait to hear more!

These will be shots they either missed, or have incorporated into the script after they viewed their current footage. It appears that they are now in process to start these shots soon. Contruction has already started on sets and the cast is expected soon. The rumored length of the time to do these is estimated at two to three weeks. We are hoping that new spy photos will show up during these shots! We will keep you posted!

Some interesting things to note is that she apparently did a very impressive job on Episode II. She is also very quiet and hush hush about her role, Queen Jamilla! It's a great read. Highlight to read: Geonosian Flyer - this is a branch of the species that has wings and can fly. It can be seen in some of the storyboards. Geonosian Picador - Just like in the Spanish bullfights, the picador rides a horse-like creature and carries a long spear. Geonosian Worker - Just a plain version of the species that presumably works in the battledroid factories. Geonosian Guard - Another warrior version. Orrays - The horse-like creatures the Geonosian Picadors ride.
It appears that the planet of Geonosis has a race called none other than the Geonosians. Well this makes sense to us. They closely resemble to battledroids. There are several "types" of Geonosians.
Sounds like a cool race that will make a lasting impression on the SW universe.

We will make you highlight this as it contains spoilers: Begin Highlight: The second assassination attempt happens within the confines of Padme`s apartment on Coruscant. Obi-Wan and Anakin are waiting guard outside of the senator`s quarters when they both sense something weird; the famous "I HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS" line is spoken here for the first time in Episode II! Zam Wesell is controlling a FLYING DROID who tries to get Padmé by sending out little insect like ROBOTS to kill her. The Jedi can sense this, hear Padmé yelling, and enter her room. While Obi-Wan JUMPS on the droid that is now on its way back to the bounty hunter, This sequence is the chase scene which will be really fun as Anakin is chasing Obi-Wan on this droid which is returning to Zam Wesell, who herself is running away from the Jedi. This leads directly to the nightclub scene.
If you`ve been keeping up on the news and rumors, you know that when Padmé`s ship lands on Coruscant there`s a big explosion and some people bite it, including a handmaiden named Cordé. Well, I guess the people who want Padmé taken out realized they missed their intended target and try again. This report also throws us another little treat. You know that famous line that creeps its way into every Star Wars film, "I have a bad feeling about this." Well, here`s where it happens. Check this out:
Anakin destroys all the little robots with Padmé and then gets on his now infamous Coruscant HOT ROD and starts following Obi-Wan, who is DANGLING
from this flying droid!

The saber given to Luke in Episode IV is the very same lightsaber that Anakin will be using in Episode II!! It does have a couple of differences though. The chrome clamp on the original saber is now black and the belt clip uses the same one as in Episode I.
VERY COOL! We can't wait to see it in action!
